GOTU KOLA TEA

Gotu Kola has been used in India and the islands of the Indian Ocean for centuries and is part of Ayurveda, the traditional herbal medicine native to the Indian subcontinent.

It was also mentioned in the Shennong Herbal, a manuscript compiled in China about 2,000 years ago. This herb, which grows in tropical regions between sea level and 1,000 feet altitude, is known among herbalists as "food for the brain."
