HANDMADE CANDLE EARL GREY

Bergamot is the magic ingredient that makes this candle smell just like your favorite tea; featuring essential oils of rose geranium, patchouli, orange, and palmarosa, this candle creates a complex and timeless atmosphere for study, contemplation, and focus.

Our candles are mixed and poured by hand in small batches in our Lovettsville, Virginia workshop using 100% US sourced natural beeswax, soy wax, premium essential and fragrance oils, and a natural hemp wick.

As a handmade product, using all-natural wicks and waxes without petroleum products, these candles can be slower burning than what you may have used in the past. The slower burning allows for a longer lasting product, with better scent-throw, but requires an initial burn of 2 hours or more to allow a melt-pool to form across the entire diameter of the candle. This sets you up for success, as the candle forms a 'memory' of this initial burn, and will cooperate much better throughout its life, though it will always be best to allow a melt pool to form across the entire candle. As the candle continues to burn down, the container acts as an insulator, and promotes more even melting as the wax gets lower in the container.
